Mr. Rajat Kumar Goyal
I am Rajat, and I am currently pursuing a PhD. In Department of Electrical Engineering: Materials Science and Engineering at University of Notre Dame USA. I completed my Master’s (MTech.) in Quantum Technologies in IDRP at the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Jodhpur, India and master’s (MSc.) in Physics at the Department of Physics and Astronomy at the National Institute of Technology (NIT) Rourkela, India. Currently, I am working on lowering contact resistance in amorphous oxide semiconductors with Prof. Hinkle’s group at Notre Dame. My broad Research interests lie between materials and devices. New materials synthesis their characterization and integration into devices. With this, I am also interested in various advanced thin film deposition techniques and fabrication and characterization of semiconductor devices. Another interest is Utilization of Machine Learning and Computational Tools in my research journey. Basically, I want to work on a bridge between Materials, Physics and Technology through a multidisciplinary approach.
